Dixon Receives Another Honor

Senior punter Riley Dixon has earned another honor for his performance in the Orange's season opening win over Villanova.

Highlights

Dixon was named ECAC Special Teams Player of the Week after throwing the eventual game-winning touchdown off a fake field goal in the second overtime period. He rolled to his left from his position as the holder and found tight end Kendall Moore in the corner of the end zone for the score.

The Blossvale, N.Y. native also put up a strong performance in the kicking game, punting five times for 217 yards (43.4 yard average), with two punts going for over-50 yards and another two being downed inside of the 20.

Dixon was previously named ACC Co-Specialist of the Week for his performance.
